How Do You Feed Roaches Roach Chow?

It’s really easy - just put it in a shallow dish in their enclosure! 

(If you use a deep dish, especially one with smooth sides, they can become trapped.)

What Do Dubia Roaches Eat?

Roaches will eat just about anything. They aren’t picky. But it’s best to give them nutritious foods that will benefit your dragon. If you stick to foods that don’t rot too quickly (offer an apple, carrot, or potato vs. berries, for example), you have less cleanup to worry about.

In addition to Feeder Fodder Roach Chow, give your roaches any of the following:

  • Dry oats
  • Leafy greens
  • Potato or sweet potato wedges
  • Carrots
  • Apple slices

NEVER give your roaches: 

  • Cat food, dog food, or meat. This results in far too much protein which can make your dragon sick.
